art $TART Grants

The St. Lawrence County Arts Council administers art$TART grants in
partnership with The New York State Council on the Arts –NYSCA.
These art$TART grants provide up to $2,500 to inspire creative teaching
partnerships between artists and schools in Lewis, Jefferson, and
St. Lawrence counties during the school year.
The deadline for 2012/2013 applications was Friday, July 20th, 2012.

This grant opportunity supports collaboratively planned projects by
teachers and participating artists that enrich student education in
and through the arts. We bolster a cross-curriculum approach which
goes beyond the classic art room setting.

Anyone interested in applying for an art$TART grant may attend a

free workshop for more information. These workshops are offered in
May and June for the following school year application.
