Each Fall we invite you to meet painters, potters, photographers, sculptors, jewelers, basket makers, quilters, fiber artists, & creative people of all sorts.
See the 2012 brochure here
You get a chance to talk with artists about their creative process, and some artists will be demonstrating their techniques during the weekend. Explore the beauty of the landscape at your own pace while you visit artists around the North Country. Be sure to check the studio descriptions to see when they are open. Driving directions and a map of the sites on the tour are in the back section of the brochure. Please keep in mind that many of the sites are the artists’ homes and private work spaces. Please enter with care and respect their space. Also please note that visiting any site on the tour is at your own risk. The SLC Arts Council and the participating artists accept no responsibility for your safety.

Artists' Studio Tour is a great way to showcase your work, meet new customers, and make some holiday sales in the comfort of your home. The customers come to you! The Council creates and distributes a full color brochure and map that tells about you and includes a photo of your work. The Studio Tour is open to artists andcraftspeople working in all media and styles.
You don’t have to participate all the days of the tour if you have a schedule conflict, but we strongly encourage you to participate for as many days as you can in order to get the most out of the tour and provide more opportunities for visitors to come see you and buy your work.
You can participate even if you don’t want to invite the public to your home or studio. Simply check the “I want to be a guest artist” on the application and we will arrange a host site for you.
Participation in the Studio Tour is only open to members of the SLC Arts Council. If you are not already a member, please go to the Membership page and send in your new membership form and payment with your Studio Tour Registration.
For your convenience, the Council also provides site signs for the weekend of the tour and we have developed a list of recommendations for making your tour weekend as profitable as possible.
